I am fortunate to have extensive training and education in prenatal care. As an aspiring midwife, I have been blessed with the opportunity to study birth at a collegiate level, and to participate in multiple capacities and roles both at home, and in the hospital. I have also completed a birth skills workshop, and am a certified in neonatal recitation (NRP) and CPR.
After the natural home birth of my amazing child, Emma, my desire to provide guidance to family and friends who are also expecting has only grown stronger. I have developed a passion in supporting women on their own extraordinary journeys in pregnancy. Too often there is a lack of support and education for mothers during such an emotional and vulnerable time. I truly believe in the education and empowerment of every Mother, and their right to an incredible birth experience!

Jennifer's calming demeanor and expansive knowledge is something I aspire to. I was so encouraged by her passion for pregnancies, mothers, and babies that it turned me onto my own path of interest into this stunning tribe of women helping women. My goal is to offer as much love and support to new moms as I have received. I am so excited to join Bellies, Birth, Babies,

My personal breastfeeding experience lies with my two handsome sons, Eli and Ethan. I never planned on nursing this long but it has become our normal and makes sense for our family. The benefits it continues to provide to my children are endless. I am so proud to join the team and have a great respect and admiration for my friend and cousin, Jennifer Davidson. Much of my approach and attitude about breastfeeding has been influenced by her approach to pregnancy and childbirth.
I prefer an approach with as few interventions and supplies as possible as my own experience of nursing at the breast has been very healing for me. I am an experienced working mom and have a love for helping premature babies back to the breast, as I had one myself! I enjoy researching and providing mom's with evidenced based solutions and support. I understand the sensitivities of breastfeeding and am very understanding and supportive of mother's making educated, informed feeding decisions based off their best interests as well as baby's.
I look forward to the opportunity to assist, educate and empower you in your breastfeeding journey and support your goals-no matter how short or long they may be.
